As we examined what actually goes onto a newborn's skin every single day, we kept finding the same things: harsh chemicals, hidden alcohols, parabens, and synthetic additives all on the most delicate, still-developing skin in the world. For a category meant to be the safest in the home, that didn't sit right with us.
